StillLifeofanElectricalWallOutletOverloadedwithPlugsandExtensionCords

With technology on the rise, your home’s electrical system may not be putting out enough wattage to handle the growth or enough electrical outlets for all of your electronic devices.

Here at F.H. Furr we hear this all the time from our electrical clients and customers, and have come up with a simple list of electrical upgrades you can do today to help with this burden.

  1. Upgrade Your Circuit Breaker: The circuit breaker is the heart of your electrical system, and if it’s not pumping out enough amperage, it could hinder your wattage. An upgrade or heavy-up can help with this issue.
  2. Upgrade Your Electrical Outlets: Outlets have come along way in the last few years, and now with the addition of USB outlets, this is a no-brainer upgrade…you can even upgrade outlets to work with Google Home or Amazon’s Alexa home automation systems.
  3. Upgrade Your Lighting: LED lighting can go along with not only helping your wattage issues, but it can also be the easiest and cheapest way to “Go Green” and save on your utility bills.

There are tons of other ways to help with wattage issues, but these are three that we get most requested (especially #1 and #2, as #3 you can do not easily by yourself) and from our experience could and should be done to solve your wattage woes.

As always, if you need any help or advice on any of these feel free to drop us a line at customerservice@fhfurrblogs.jdmps.com and we can get a licensed electrician to give you a call and answer any questions you might have.
