Each year, the Haymarket community comes together for a day of celebration honoring the community where they live! This year’s celebration was nothing short of FUN!<\/p>\n
Early in the morning on September 17th, Main Street Haymarket was shut down and the excitement began! Starting at 9am, the event kicked off with a parade! From dancers, to martial art clubs, political figures, boy and girl scouts, to charities, schools, police and firefighters – the parade route was packed!<\/p>\n
The F.H. Furr booth was located next to the entrance of the “Teen Zone” which included the rock climbing wall, petting zoo and a bunch of games!\u00a0We were also the proud sponsors of the F.H. Furr Misting Tent which was located next to the “Kids Zone”! There were games and even a blow up obstacle course there!<\/p>\n
Countless area vendors were set up including local businesses, churches, crafters, schools and local organizations. There were a ton of food choices as well!<\/p>\n
