Before There Was Toilet Paper [Infographic]

In 1857, toilet paper was first invented as we sort of know it today.

But the earliest reported use was in the 6th century during the Ming Dynasty. The emperor being very sensitive, had 15,000 sheets be made soft and perfumed. Too bad the rest of the world had to suffer. Check out our infographic on “What was used before toilet tissue?” Modern toilet tissue, that is.
