Our History
“F.H. Furr Plumbing” was founded in February 1981 by Floyd and Barbara Furr.
Despite limited resources at the start, the founders were determined to build a professional company rooted in integrity, hard work, and exceptional customer service. With a small team of family members helping in the early years, plumbing jobs steadily increased as word spread about the company’s commitment to quality workmanship and reliability.
By 1988, the company expanded into air conditioning services, becoming F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. In 1996, duct cleaning services were added, transforming the company into a full-service home services provider. Continued growth led to expanded facilities and additional service territories.
Over time, F.H. Furr expanded into Maryland, Washington, DC, Delaware, and Richmond, Virginia. The addition of electrical services completed the transition into a comprehensive home service company capable of addressing nearly every major system within a home.
Today, F.H. Furr proudly serves homeowners throughout Baltimore and the greater Maryland region. With more than four decades of experience and a continued commitment to knowledge, professionalism, and customer-first service, we remain dedicated to doing the job right the first time.
