Our History
“F.H. Furr Plumbing” was founded in February 1981 by Floyd and Barbara Furr.
Despite limited resources, the owners were determined to build a successful, professional business. With only a small team of family members pitching in, the plumbing jobs began to pile up as word of their business, excellent service, and work ethic began to grow. They established a reputation for quality work and a family feel that customers were attracted to.
By 1988, the company had expanded into air conditioning, which led to the incorporation of F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. In 1996, duct cleaning was added. The additional services transformed F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. into a true, full-service company! They outgrew their small office space and moved into a warehouse in Woodbridge in 1997. As the company flourished, it became clear that several locations would be needed as growth was imminent.
They settled into their Manassas headquarters in 2006 and have since expanded into Maryland and DC. With the addition of electrical services, F.H. Furr is officially the #1 home service company in the Northern Virginia area!
